Ex-BBC and XFM presenter Michelle Mullane dies from cancer at 50

Last modified on Mon 28 Dec 2020 13.56 EST Tributes have been paid to Michelle Mullane, the former BBC and XFM radio presenter, who has died aged 50 from bowel cancer. The broadcaster, who was diagnosed in June 2019 and told she had only six months to live, died on Christmas Eve. In an Instagram video last week, she revealed she had been unable to leave the house for the past two months due to experiencing “excruciating pain for nearly six weeks straight”. Her close friend, the comedian Jason Manford, shared a tribute to the former BBC Radio Manchester presenter. He wrote on Instagram: ...
