East Pennsboro Area School District will return to in-person classes four days a week

An area school district has announced plans to return students to the classroom four days a week.
Following a poll of families in the district, the East Pennsboro Area School District has announced they will be going forward with a change to more frequent in-person classes for a majority of students.
“Based on the academic and social-emotional needs of our students, and based on the CDC Guidelines that state ‘vaccination should not be a condition for reopening schools for in-person instruction’ we are planning on returning students to school,” an announcement on the East Pennsboro website reads. “While we had hoped to offer the vaccine to our staff, as you may be aware, it is not currently available to those who are in Group 1B.
