Construction of Whole Foods Market begins in South Windsor
A groundbreaking ceremony for a Whole Foods Market and Shake Shack in South Windsor took place last week. The new 50,000-square-foot store is part of the Promenade Shops at Evergreen Walk’s “Evergreen 2.0” redevelopment plan. Officials with Charter Realty and Development, which manages the property, announced that other new tenants include The Goddard School, a private early childhood education provider, and the upscale furniture store Lovesac. Charter Realty plans to announce more tenants in the coming weeks, including a national athletic brand.
