Acrefair man ordered to pay compensation for damaging vehicles and police cell

Martin David Roberts, of King Street, appeared at Mold Magistrates Court on Wednesday. The 36-year-old admitted that on October 18 last year at Llay Custody facility in Davy Way he damaged a cell wall by spitting multiple times and requiring a decontamination callout to the value of £127.20. For that offence, he was fined £300 and ordered to pay compensation of to the value of the callout, as well as a £60 victim surcharge and £85 costs. He also admitted that on that occasion he damaged a BMW and an Audi vehicle to the value of £1550 belonging to George Plant. He was fined a fu...
