The City Council meeting held on Dec. 12 included passing a motion to accept the final 2024 levy budget, a series of public hearings, and the acceptance of Finance Director Lloyd Lanz’s retirement.
The total 2024 general fund levy across all city taxable Wadena and Otter Tail county properties increased $16,501 with a mill levy rate of $.056 per $1,000 taxable property value.
