Temperatures, however, will vary considerably across the area due to the southeast wind (up to 10 mph), which will bring cooler air inland off of the big lakes.
After today’s brief cool-down, the 60s return Wednesday, along with rain. But that mild air won’t last until the weekend.
What a finish for early March! We’ll get an encore of these 50-degree numbers, but not until next week.
Those fleeting snowflakes earlier might be the last we see for more than a week. Temperatures won’t be stuck in a rut, however.
