Pueblo Chieftain news director: I will work hard to deliver the news
I grew up reading The Pueblo Chieftain. An avid sports fan, I would clip photos from the sports section of my favorite athletes, Sammy Sosa and Michael Jordan. I would read box scores of local preps teams (in particular my alma mater Pueblo County High School). And as I got older, I would read The Chieftain to stay up-to-date on current news. In high school, in Florence Relph’s journalism class, I would imagine myself the sports editor of the paper someday. Fast forward some 16 years later, and I’m writing this in the editor’s office of The Pueblo Chieftain.
