Boris Johnson criticised by Lords committee for appointing too many peers
The House of Lords Committee, which scrutinises the size of the chamber's membership, has highlighted the number of peers appointed by the former prime minister as one of the reasons the house has not shrunk since a target to do so was set out six years ago.
