A group of volunteers who collected Christmas trees in aid of Bury Hospice UNWANTED Christmas trees have been put to good use raising funds for Bury Hospice. Hardworking volunteers have been collecting the trees from homes across the borough in return for a donation to the charity which provides end of life care and support for patients and their families. Bury Hospice tree collection BURY Hospice is asking residents to put their old Christmas trees to help raise vital funds for the charity. When those pine needles become too much and the baubles are hanging lower in those days after Christmas, most would just take it to the local tip to dispose of. However, the hospice is encouraging people to help the environment and be charitable at the same time.
