French space sector firm Promethee on Friday said it was exploring the possibility of placing its nanosatellites in orbit using the Vikram-series of launch vehicles being developed by Indian start-up Skyroot Aerospace. Skyroot co-founder Pawan Kumar Chandana held discussions with Promethee President Olivier Piepsz on the sidelines of the official visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to France.

Developed by space start-up Skyroot Aerospace under its mission 'Prarambh', the launch will be held at ISRO's Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota

The Vikram-S will be powered by the Kalam 80 propulsion system that will ignite the three-stage rocket to space.

Indian space startup Skyroot Aerospace has successfully tested the Kalam-100 engine that will power the third stage of the Vikram-1 launch vehicle.
