The Close, Warminster WILTSHIRE Council has refused permission for new homes close to Warminster town centre. The applicant, Mr A Jones, of Custom Built, Lower Marsh, wanted to build five one and two-bedroomed flats on land at The Close, Warminster, used as a private car park. His plans included the partial demolition of a listed wall within the town's conservation area at the front of the proposed block of flats.
