The small northern B.C. community of Lower Post is dealing with a number of COVID-19 cases, and local officials are asking visitors to stay away.

A COVID-19 outbreak has been declared in a unit of the Whistle Bend Place long-term care facility in Whitehorse after one case was detected. The situation “is contained and routine management outbreak procedures are in place.”
