Downtown Athol landmark sells for $6M
A landmark building in downtown Athol, the former Pequoig Hotel, has been sold for $6 million to a New York City buyer. The four-story building, with its elaborate brick facade and bay windows, was built in 1895 and is included in the National Register of Historic Places. It includes the Athol Council on Aging and the barber shop Privilege 351, along with upper-floor apartments.
