THE first residents are set to move in to nine brand-new council homes in Charminster, with a mix of family and one-bedroom properties offered.

TWO people from Bournemouth have been fined for breaching Covid lockdown rules with offences at a Boscombe flat.

BCP Council confirmed in a public notice that the Bournemouth road will be closed for two weeks. It said: “Sections of Charminster Road to be opened and closed to all vehicles, as works progress between Charminster Avenue and Broadway Roundabout. “No parking, no waiting at any time and no loading/unloading at any time will be permitted. “As works progress, the following roads will be closed to all vehicles at their junctions with Charminster Road: Charminster Avenue, Strouden Road, Strouden Avenue, Gresham Road, Mortimer Road, Malvern Road, Uplands Road, Claremont Road, Luckham ...
