Lumber businesses are on the move in Greenville
By Staff Pleasant River Lumber Co. has acquired a Greenville company, Moosehead Cedar Log Homes, and plans to move it to Dover-Foxcroft — while moving another Pleasant River business to Greenville. A news release announcing the purchase did not disclose terms, but said the relocations will take place this summer. Randy and Lucy Comber, who had owned and operated Moosehead since 1996, plan to retire but will assist with the transition. The company will continue operation at the Pleasant River mill in Dover-Foxcroft, while Ware-Butler Inc. Lumber & Building Supplies will open it...
