LOUISVILLE, Ky.  Days before protesters are expected to gather to honor Breonna Taylor s memory, her mother filed six new complaints against Louisville Metro Police officers.
The complaints, filed with the department s Professional Standards Unit earlier this week, seek investigations into whether departmental policies were violated in the course of the investigation that led police to Taylor s door on March 13, 2020, during the botched search warrant execution and in the subsequent departmental probe.
Among the allegations:
Not properly wearing body cameras;
Faulty surveillance; 
Moving critical evidence ; and
Lingering at the crime scene or leaving without peer support.
Louisville police officials issued a statement, saying the department places the highest priority on conducting thorough and impartial investigations, and the complaints received from Ms. Palmer’s attorney are no exception. ....
