PEMBROKE In collaboration with the Robeson Health Care Corporation, the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina is offering free COVID-19 vaccinations at the Lumbee Housing Complex at 6984 NC 711 West in Pembroke on Friday, according to a news release.
The drive-thru event will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is open to all residents in and around Robeson County 65 and older. According to the tribe, educators, school personnel and childcare workers in this age group are encouraged to come. 
Pre-registration for the drive-thru event is not required, but participants must bring identification such as a driver s license to be serviced, according to the news release.  ....
