The Hatchets won, 49-36. Bad Axe is now 9-2 overall and 8-2 in conference play. Himmel, making her first start of the season, led the way for the Hatchets with 20 points, 13 rebounds and 11 blocks. The sophomore set a new single-game school record with those 11 blocks. Other leaders on the night for Bad Axe were Kate Clancy with 9 points and Camryn Affer and Alexis Booms with 5 points each. Sophie Shuart had 4 points, Callie Engler and Claire Castle each chipped in 2, and Haley Newland and Madison Kinney each had 1 point.
