By Russel Hewawasam (Lanka-e-News- 02.March.2021, 11.00PM) The Presidential Commission appointed in November 2019 to investigate the Islamic extremist attack on Sri Lanka on Easter Sunday, April 21, concluded its work last January 27th. The commission examined the evidences of 450 people, including former President Maithripala Sirisena, former Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and security chiefs. The Commission concluded its proceedings by applying sudden brakes. Although the report of the Presidential Commission on the Easter Attack, which ended up blaming only those who did not prevent the attack, is incomplete, it is also becoming a boomerang for the present government.
