Seized Lord Nataraja idol MADURAI: The Bodi Town police in Theni district seized an idol of Lord Nataraja that is suspected to be an antique piece and arrested a 26-year-old man from SS Puram in Bodi. A police team led by Bodi Town inspector Saravanan conducted a vehicle check-up on Saturday. The idol was found in a car that was stopped by the police during the check. It was wrapped in a gunny bag and measured three feet tall and weighed around 10 kgs. The team immediately picked up M Manikandan, 26, who was the driver.
