Storage giant Western Digital is establishing a new sub-brand for storage solutions aimed at creative professionals in the entertainment industries. SanDisk Professional will cover a wide range of pro storage devices.
Western Digital has launched the SanDisk Professional brand of storage devices, aimed at content creators. The SanDisk Professional range is born out of the SanDisk consumer brand and Western Digital’s G-Technology brand. The SanDisk Professional line offers “professional-grade” performance and “enterprise-class reliability”, says Western Digital. It includes the Pro-Cinema CFexpress VPG400 card, with video recording at a minimum of 400MB/s.
