Barbara Davis, a former corrections officer at the private Northeast Ohio Correctional Center off Hubbard Road in Youngstown, pleaded guilty Thursday to having sex with an inmate and taking bribes to bring contraband into the prison. She entered the pleas in U.S. District Court in Akron. Judge Sara Lioi ordered that Davis be released on $20,000 bond. Davis will be sentenced at 10 a.m. April 29. YOUNGSTOWN — A prison guard at the private Northeast Ohio Correctional Center off Hubbard Road faces four federal charges after authorities accused her of having sex with an inmate, and taking bribes to bring contraband into the facility. According to the indictment from the U.S. Court for the Northern District of Ohio, guard Barbara Davis engaged in a sexual act with an unidentified federal prisoner incarcerated at the Hubbard Road facility.
