The preservation of 25 historic buildings across the state was recently boosted by $328,202 from the Maine Community Foundation’s Belvedere Historic Preservation and Energy Efficiency Grant Program. 2023 grantees include:



Center Theatre of Dover-Foxcroft, to complete an HVAC study that will provide options that are more energy efficient, environmentally responsible, and aligned with a near-term solar project: $5,000; and



Moosehead Marine Museum of Greenville, to restore the port side deck of the historic Steamboat Katahdin: $10,000. ....
