Armoured vehicles lined the historic streets of Paris yesterday evening as the French capital braced itself for the arrival of thousands of 'Freedom Convoy' truckers who plan to blockade the city.
Hundreds of vehicles were planning to bring Vienna to a halt today before police announced the demonstrations are not lawful.
The Paris police prefecture said the convoy was an 'undeclared mobilisation', and those taking part risk a two-year prison sentence, a three-year driving ban and a €4,500 fine.
