Carlsbad —  Every year, more home-bound seniors are becoming “food insecure,” which means they don’t know where their next meal is coming from or they don’t have enough money to cover groceries for the month. To help fill that gap, Meals on Wheels San Diego County offers low-price meals for seniors that are packed and home-delivered by an army of volunteers that includes Allan Thomas of Carlsbad.
