The pbs news hour is hosting the event. The debate comes just after sanders claimed victory over clinton in the New Hampshire primary. However, clinton just picked up an endorsement from the congressional black caucus. Ahead of South Carolinas primaries, the delegate count for candidates is close. After a win in New Hampshire, Bernie Sanders has 36 pledged delegates. Hillary clinton has 32. In South Carolina thehe are 53 pledged delegates up for grabs for the democrats.
