Bill Belichick won't rule out Patriots signing QB, kicker help – Boston Herald
The Patriots will at least consider bringing in outside help at two key positions after the team's struggles continued in Sunday's 10-7 loss to the Giants. Head coach Bill Belichick was asked Monday if he would consider signing a quarterback from outside of the organization. The team waived quarterback Will Grier on Saturday. They won't know if he has cleared waivers and if they can bring him back to the 53-man roster or practice squad until Monday at 4 p.m. ET.
