Food help this Christmas for day centre in Malvern
Sam Price, who is a team leader at the day centre on Newtown Road, said: “We are very grateful for the food and it will come in very handy for the people we work with. “Since the pandemic started, quite a few people in the town come to the centre as they are socially isolated. “Things are different to when we first opened as we now have to restrict numbers, wear personal protective clothing and take temperatures during this pandemic.” Cllr Allen was joined in the handing over of the hampers by Peter Storry, a member of the Malvern armed forces breakfast club.
