The National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, on Saturday terminated the appointments of five aides with immediate effect.

Factional National Chairman of the Labour Party, Julius Abure, has approved the termination of appointment of some of the presidential campaign assistants of Peter Obi after the Thursday’s Supreme Court verdict went against his party. In a termination letter signed by the National Secretary of the party, Malam Umar Farouk, Abure said all appointments related to elections and campaigns had been formally dissolved.
Following the defeat suffered at the Supreme Court on Monday, the national chairman of the Labour Party, has sacked all his aides with immediate effect.
