Close on the heels of acquiring Gujarat-based MK Printpack, Parksons Packaging, the Warburg Pincus-backed packaging giant in India, has announced that it has completed the acquisition of Fortuner Packaging’s business by way of a slump sale.
Parksons will leverage Printpack’s packaging solutions and technical expertise in fluted packaging—using reinforced cardboard—to augment its portfolio.

Indian omnichannel jewellery and lifestyle retailer Vaibhav Global (VGL) has agreed to acquire a majority stake in Encase Packaging Private.
