Breeders' Cup Classic contender Geaux Rocket Ride worked six furlongs at Santa Anita on Friday after overcoming an elevated temperature.
Under idyllic conditions Saturday morning at Santa Anita, 158 horses had timed workouts, including several pointed to the Breeders' Cup.
“It was another professional effort from Endlessly,” McCarthy added. “It seems like he just continues to get better with racing.”
“I think they give him more focus,” said Baffert, who has won the previous three Awesome Again’s and eight overall.
