Pittsburgh Marine and team head to Cuba to find historic well from Spanish-American War
In the Battle for Cuzco Well, U.S. landing forces were under attack by Spanish troops, who were sustained by fresh water from a nearby well. U.S. Marines, the Navy and Cuban soldiers found and destroyed the well, and defeated the numerically superior Spanish.
