WINGATE — Wingate Swimming hosted its Senior Night in a pre-meet ceremony honoring the names listed below.
For the first time this season, the Lenoir-Rhyne Men’s Swimming team had a home meet. The Bears welcomed Wingate and Catawba for a Saturday matinee inside Shuford Pool. The Bears came away with a 187-36 win against Catawba but fell to Wingate 183-70. Sophomore Micah McRea took home two events on Saturday. First, McRea took home the 100 yard breaststroke with a 56.96 time. Teammate Connor Greene finished third with a 59.01 as well during the 100 breaststroke.
