Banks play a longer game on cash
Banks, reportedly, are investigating a couple of drastic options to solve the mess they helped create by backing the merger of cash-in-transit operators Armaguard and Prosegur last year. One brainwave is to have the industry set up their own CIT outfit. More controversially, banks may seriously be looking into how best to eliminate cash handling from their own business models altogether.
