Uncomfortable Science, the eclectic brainchild of frontman Lachlan Mitchell, is a collective that sees an ever-changing roster of musicians brought together onstage for a completely-improvised jam. Melbourne Music Week – Extended has joined forces with Melbourne Museum to present a series of outdoor gigs this summer. Taking place at the Melbourne Museum Plaza every Friday and Saturday night between January 8 and 23, the Summer Plaza Series boasts an incredible lineup of local acts. The eclectic program kicks off with Halo Vocal Ensemble on Friday January 8. Helmed by MzRizk and featuring 12 artists including TATAFU, thando, Michaela Jayde and more, the Halo Vocal Ensemble looks to put a modern spin on choral music with performances of classic and contemporary R&B, soul, funk and hip hop. ....
