Special to The Banner The billboards are up thanks to Larry Harris, Terry Crissman, DeLayne Homes and Chris Genn, but they still need the communityâs help to move the thermometer up. âThe goal this year is $275,000 and we are at 40% of that goal,â said Helen Stewart, Executive Director. âIt has been slow going this year due to COVID 19, as a majority of businesses are working remotely, and we are not able to campaign as usual by making presentations to local businesses. We are saturating the whole of Stephens County with our direct mail campaign talking to some civic, service and study clubs, using extreme precautions, as we do not want anyone to become sick.â
