Marion City Schools name new administrator
MARION - The Marion City Schools Board of Education has hired Jennifer Sheridan as the new director of Student Services. Sheridan replaces Kelley Barber, who accepted another position last year. Kathy Leffler and Kim Burke have been serving as interim directors for this school year.
Sheridan will begin her new duties July 1. She has served over 10 years in public education in various positions, including classroom teacher, intervention specialist and currently as Student Services supervisor in the school district. Sheridan has extensive experience working with students of all ages, especially those with special needs. She has strong connections to the community and has built relationships with a wide variety of community partners.  ....
