Dennis Gullingsrud was born on February 11, 1928, and attended school in Climax, MN. After graduation, he enlisted in the army and served with distinction in Korea from 1950-52. Upon return, he attended NDSU, graduating with a degree in geology. He went on to have a long career as an Allstate Insurance agent in Fargo.

A wonderful wife, mother, and friend passed from this world on March 23, 2022. Joyce Gullingsrud was born on February 6, 1928, to Parmer and Josephine (Jacobson) Sharpe and grew up in Nielsville, MN. She graduated from Climax High School and then from Concordia College. She taught home economics for several years in Nevis, MN, before marrying her childhood sweetheart, Dennis Gullingsrud in 1953 and moving to Fargo.
