Parks levy and 'pothole haters tax' win big in Tuesday election MANSFIELD - Voters approved two levies Tuesday that will continue the improvement of streets and parks within Mansfield. The pothole tax is a charter amendment to reimpose a one-quarter percent municipal income tax for another four years to repair the city's streets and park roads. Of the 1,060 who weighed in on the the matter, 809 (76%) voted in favor of the renewal and 251 (24%) voted against it.
