Bay County Florida sets fewer voting sites for Tuesday elections

PANAMA CITY — For the first time since Hurricane Michael, Bay County voters will be required to cast their ballots at assigned polling locations on Election Day, Tuesday. Supervisor of Elections Mark Andersen said for that reason, voters need to take advantage of early voting, or take the time now to find out at what sites they have been assigned. Early voting ends on Friday. Environment Agency grant to protect Poole from flooding

The Environment Agency has handed over the Flood Defence Grant for tidal flood defences along roughly 1.5km of waterfront at Back Water Channel. It will protect parts of Poole town centre, the Old Town and new developments in the Twin Sails regeneration area from flood risk for the next 100 years. Florida lawmakers propose 'super' voting sites

Florida lawmakers and election officials are proposing to allow “super” voting sites intended to make casting in-person ballots more convenient for voters and less costly for counties in the days leading up to future elections.
