B&Q's parent company revealed adjusted pre-tax profits declined by 25.1 per cent to £568.1million in the 12 months ending January following weaker results in France and Poland.
Sales at the FTSE 100 retailer dropped 0.6% during the 12 months to January, while pre-tax profits sank 22.3% year on year.
Among the companies with reports and trading updates today are Aston Martin Lagonda, St James's Place, Halfords, Taylor Wimpey, Reckitt Benckiser and Vodafone.
Shares in St James Place plummeted after it slashed its dividend and warned that costs connected to complaints would be a drag on growth.
