Happy, i support that. martha: mark, it strikes me that there might be more going on here than we know. as you say, she s obviously performing and making money. so it s hard to understand why this judge wouldn t have sort of created a situation where she could get more control of her things and maybe the father has been moved to the side in some respects. what do you think? this is what is perplexing about this. first of all, a very well-thought of job in the l.a. superior courts. however, she s been presiding this for going on 13 years. there s a little bit of i don t want to say ownership but clearly a vested interest in the decisions being made. what is so frustrating is that everybody has a sixth amendment to counsel. here she can t get her own counsel. she tried in the past. they said because you re under a conservatorship, you can t choose your own lawyer. that strikes me as being wrong. ....
Exhausted. he would come back to the staff cabinet and say see you in the office in two hours and he meant it. it was hard, it was difficult work but it was a privilege. i can t imagine complaining about the hostile or difficult work environment i had. if you can t do the job, there s plenty of people that would love to replace you. resign. martha: absolutely. i mean, the privilege to work in the white house, leslie and to serve the vice president and the president, that s the way that everybody has to approach jobs like these. one of the reasons this story has gotten a lot of traction are the sort of snippy statements that we see the vice president saying to reporters now and then and so because of all of that, i think it makes it s not too difficult to imagine that gee, i wonder what it s like to work there. she s the first female vice president. second, there s people on the right and mark, i command martha: what is the relevance of that? that you and i actually agree on s ....
