Detroit Animal Care and Control dogs and cats are currently without veterinary care. Volunteers and the shelter are requesting community assistance.
"The tragedy of this is that there are not enough homes for these animals and all the rescue groups are full," said Mark Kumpf
All available dogs are microchipped and neutered and receive a veterinary exam which includes heartworm testing and vaccinations.
