The UK has recorded an average annual temperature of more than 10C (50F) for the first time, the Met Office has said.
The country saw an annual mean temperature of 8.50C last year, above the previous record of 8.43C set in 2014.
The mean temperature across 2022 was 10.03C, beating the previous all-time high of 9.88C in 2014, the Met Office said.
