Woo ran against Tammy Morales for Seattle's District 2 seat last year.
None of the people currently gunning for the seat will come close to Mosqueda's progressive values.
Seattle voters filled city hall Thursday night for a chance to ask questions to the eight potential candidates vying for the empty seat on the city council.
Ceis said big business had “earned the right” to tell the council who to pick because they paid for their seats with more than $1 million in outside spending.
The eight finalists are: Juan J. Cotto, Neha Nariya, Mark Solomon, Vivian Song, Steven Strand, Mari Sugiyama, Linh Thai and Tanya Woo.
