40,000 miles and counting! Biker bids to complete global riding epic
"In 2014, I went on a round- the-world trip just backpacking and flying. Even halfway round, I knew I wanted to do it on a bike," Mark told MCN. "I got back, worked for a year and went. "I was clueless. I didn’t even know how the off-road tyres would handle. I’d never done green-laning and my first bit of off-roading was the Wakhan Valley in Tajikistan." Having left the UK with 16,500 miles on the dash, Mark’s Yamaha is now showing 57,000 after carrying him through much of Europe and Asia. He’s now back in the UK to earn some more money, before heading back out to Cambodia.
