The Farmington Farmers Market opens its 28th season 9 a.m. this Saturday.
After writing this opening sentence, I found myself taking pause. I noted a resolve and a matter-of-factness within myself as I put pen to paper. This is a good thing.
Last year, we ran fast and hard to stay ahead of the virus, keeping the market safe during a rising pandemic. This year, we are back to work, stronger, safer and even better prepared to hold and preserve the public trust as we welcome the return of Saturday life to a Michigan small town.
