Two divisions of the final leg for each the two-year-old trotting fillies, two-year-old pacing colts as well as the three-year-old trotting colts made up the second half of the evening’s card as the Hoosier State’s finest duked it out in their final chance to earn points before the quarter-million dollar Indiana Sire Stakes Super Finals on Friday, Oct. 14.
After a week’s worth of two-year-old stakes action, it was the two-year-old trotting colts turn in the spotlight at Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino on Saturday (July 16) as three $47,000 divisions were featured on the evening’s 12 race card. It was the opening round of their six-round series and the freshmen colts did not disappoint.
