WITH the future of races in Wales still unsure four members of Prestatyn Running Club once again crossed the border last week to compete in a Trafford AC’s Grand Prix track meeting in Stretford. It proved to be a good workout for them all against some quality athletes from many clubs in the North West. In his 3,000-metre heat Andrew Bromley finished 5th in 10:21.8, with James Rogers 15th in 11:37.7. James then competed in the 800m, coming 8th in 2:52.0, with teenager Luke Bodman first U20 in the same heat with a time of 2:34.6. It was Luke’s debut on the track.
