The visit to Nigeria’s foremost automobile manufacturing plant was part of the Institution’s training programmes on national security, defense architecture and inter-agency cooperation. Speaking during the signing ceremony at the ITF Headquarters, the Director-General of the ITF, Joseph Ari, said that the collaboration, which is subject to review and renewal, would afford the Academy the benefit of the Fund’s expertise, experience and expansive network just as the Fund would benefit from the enormous intellectual resources available at the Academy. Farmers/Herders clash: SDP advises state govts to pass anti-grazing bill Published The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has advised State governments to pass the Anti-Grazing Bill into Law to eliminate the constant farmers/herders conflicts across Nigeria. SDP’s National Publicity Secretary, Mr Alfa Mohammed, gave the advice in a statement in Abuja on Tuesday. Mohammed also urged the state governors to set up Ministries of Internal Security and Conflict Resolution to deal with the activities of aliens in states. Daily Post Nigeria Published The National Metallurgical Development Centre (NMDC) on Tuesday signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Nigerian Defence Academy to enhance educational training at the NDA. The NMDC said the signing of the MoU is to complement NDA’s efforts in training officer cadets in engineering, physical sciences, among others. Prof. Linus Asuquo, Director General/Chief Executive NMDC disclosed this during the event in Jos, the Plateau State Capital.
